Traditionally X-Ray was the only process to “look” into concrete before cutting. Concrete Xrays were expensive, time-consuming and the radiation posed problems with evacuation perimeters in hospitals and hotels where moving people can be difficult, if not impossible.
Ground Penetrating Radar addresses all of these issues by using radio frequencies similar to your cell phone to look into the concrete.
Missing Women in Springfield, Mo
The Springfield Three is a missing person case that began on June 7, 1992 when Sherrill Levitt, Suzie Streeter, and Stacy McCall went missing from 1717 E. Delmar St, Springfield, Missouri. They or their remains have never been discovered.
Construction Solutions was asked to come in and use GPR, Ground Penetrating Radar, to help solve the mystery.
Ground Penetrating Radar is becoming more familiar in the construction industry as a valuable and necessary tool. Prior to Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), X-Ray was the only means of “looking” through concrete to identify structures such as rebar.
Today Construction Solutions leads the GPR industry, offering expertise services worldwide.
